The Amex Offers program frequently has promotions for hotel stays, which can save you money or earn you bonus points for stays you’d make anyway. We’ve just seen a new offer rolled out for stays at select luxury Accor brands, which could come in handy if you have any upcoming stays.
Spend $500+ with Accor luxury brands, save $100
There’s a targeted Amex Offers deal for stays at select Raffles, Fairmont, SLS, Sofitel, and Legend properties, in the United States and select global locations:
- Save $100 when you spend $500+ across one or more transactions (up to 20% back)
- This is valid when you pay for your stay between August 3 and November 2, 2026
- This is only valid for stays at select properties in the Americas and in select global locations, and you can find the full list of participating properties here
- The terms state that you need to book directly with Accor to take advantage of this; for these purposes, an Accor Preferred booking should qualify, though
- All room charges, including taxes and fees, should qualify toward this offer
- This is valid only for room rate and charges, and excludes all other Accor brands, residences, registries, weddings and events, amenities such as golf, spa, and dining, Fairmont Store, Raffles Boutique, and any other retail purchases
- Registration is required
You can split your payment to maximize rewards
Hotel stays can be expensive, especially at luxury brands, so it always makes sense to use a credit card that maximizes your return on hotel spending. The truth is that there are a limited number of Amex cards with good spending multipliers on hotels (the Amex Green Card offers 3x points, but is no longer open to new applicants, as of late).
That’s why I think it’s worth pointing out that it’s typically not an issue to split payment methods at check-out, when staying at a hotel. So you could use an Amex card on which you have the Amex Offers deal for $500, and then put the remaining amount on a card that has a better rewards structure for hotel spending.
Bottom line
There’s a new Amex Offers deal that can save you money at select Raffles, Fairmont, SLS, Sofitel, and Legend properties, in the United States and select destinations abroad. If you have any upcoming stays with these Accor brands, this deal is absolutely worth taking advantage of.
